Unfortunately, it failed. I know they contained data for sculpts because I had successfully uploaded them before with DarkStorm, but what I got from Firestorm Pro was totally deformed and resemebled mesh. Did I miss something? Is this expected? I assumed XML was XML, but apparently not. I really want this to work so I can contribute to the group and move some stuff from Second Life to Metropolis. Also, right after I installed it, my antivirus program started working overtime trying to remove a virus. I haven't had a virus in over a year and now with this new viewer installed, I seem to get one every few hours. Is this expected? Thanks, Tahoe Sands RE: Firestorm Professional version - 4-7-8-49023 - Tahoe Sands - 03-08-2017 Hi Everyone, This is day 2 with Firestorm Pro and I am trying to follow along with the FS Pro Help Videos. I am trying to just back up some textures from a mesh object and again, it failed. I right click on the object, select MORE/MORE/Save As and then select Backup, and then select the Textures tab. I can see the textures but when I try to click on them, nothing happens. I cannot open them or save them. I am a little frustrated becuase I read all this comments like, "Looks great" and "Awesome" and I wonder why my experience with FS Pro is so "NOT Awesome". Is it just me or people making these comments before they even try to make it work, or are they just bogus hype posts by friends of the creator (just saying that possiblity exists). Thanks, Tahoe Sands RE: Firestorm Professional version - 4-7-8-49023 - cszxcnhwtb - 03-08-2017 hi. is there any plans to release a linux version of Firestorm Professional? or provide the patches to apply against the FS mercurial repository? ty RE: Firestorm Professional version - 4-7-8-49023 - cszxcnhwtb - 03-09-2017 also, sorry for double posting, i cannot edit my post: is this 32 bit or 64 bit? may someone using it please tell me? ty RE: Firestorm Professional version - 4-7-8-49023 - BaileyM - 03-16-2017 If i try to upload an XML it crashes the viewer, did it with darkstrom too for some reason. Any ideas? Any ideas?Yep, I had the same problem trying to save stuff from SL and they import it into OS. It would crash just before the last 4 prims were getting pulled in. I don't know about FS Pro, but in Darkstorm, you can add a "pause" of X number of seconds after every Y prims are pulled into the build. I set it for 2 seconds for every 1 prim and it worked great. Thanks much trying it. - bones189 - 04-01-2017 (05-27-2016, 08:25 PM)Apollo Wrote: RE: Firestorm Professional version - 4-7-8-49023 - VenusBellona25 - 04-05-2017 Does this rip scripts?
