best place to learn how to create items in sl free?

i have a lot of time on my hands and i have always wanted to be able to make my own stuff in sl, I just dont know where to begin! anyone have any suggestions of a free place I can learn ?

Blender is a good place to start off thanks to the many guides you can find on Youtube.
You can also start texturing basic stuff using GIMP, since its pretty similar to Photoshop.
