How do I edit objects that are "no-mod?" I just want an item I bought to be a different color and unfortunately they don't sell it in the color I want.

Maybe you are correct but when I try to link No Mod object to object I create error prompt say "can not link because not all items have modify permission."  To link is to modify.  If you have original item that is mod then yes you can link. But discussion is about no mod item, yes.

Also. I just click on hair item someone wearing. I choose Inspect.  What I see then is window with name of every item in that product. Owner name and Creator name for each.  How many faces. other things. etc.

Maybe I do not understand question, but it is what I see when I do these things. You have different experience?
