First off, let me say that I am a copying virgin here, so bear with me if I ask stupid questions or come off as totally dense (I am!).

There are two specific items that I want to copy, one is a Catwa skin applier and the other is a Maitreya skin applier.  I have been reading the previous posts about copying skins, but since the files I have are just for the appliers, I'm not sure how to go about it.  I don't even know how to find the UUID code, if there is one in this instance.

Is there a kind, patient soul out there who will help me out?  Pleeeeeze?

I am not certain someone else has a better solution to this than me but I would apply the skin and then use the DS viewer to show the textures and save them. If it is a bento head you may have it easier rezzing the head to try and click it to grab the texture after you applied it. But I am no veteran so I may well be taking out of my behind :P

That's the same way I would suggest. In FS you can right click on the component and when the pie menu comes up navigate to textures and you'll see what textures are there. Because in Firestorm the body is no mod you won't be able to copy them. So you will need a copybot viewer like DarkStorm to grab the textures and then it would just be right click the texture -> open and save to your pc.

Hi ^^ Example I recently entered DS. but my avatar never loaded so I could not see anything .. And if I want to extract the textures from a mesh body where it is applied I must do the same procedure? .. Or if I have applicators how can I get the textures o.o?

~Your mesh head and body is just that mesh, just export it like you would any normal mesh item Dave as collada and you can collect all the textures you need in one swoop.
