Unless I am misreading the sentence, he had no idea the place was being resurrected. If he had been dead we would have had no idea if he approved or not.
The "dark conspiracy" is simply an expression of what seems like a perfectly reasonable assumption that LL had opened the sim without his permission, which leads to a perfectly reasonable assumption that they may have designs on doing the same with other long dead sims, and also the perfectly reasonable expression by some of "why this sim and not other perfectly good examples of historical builds" what are the criteria for Historical builds?, surly in a community it would be something along the lines of asking around and some kind of voting, and we all know the kind of surprises that kind of action can throw up. Trying to sweep negative comments aside as over reaction or dark conspiracy theories just because he is ok with the whole affair does not adequately address any of the concerns. In fact it fans the flames. Of course it does not matter much in the great scheme of things when all said and done, and some people love to take the “hey man, calm down, take it easy, you are getting upset over nothing” attitude, it makes them feel superior in some way over us excessively worrying idiots, like they are real laid back human beings. But passive acceptance of bad policy, or even fawning obeisance never helped anyone much in any field of life apart from those who take advantage of other peoples weaknesses.
