I read Blender for Dummies yesterday and finally have a pretty good grasp of what I'm doing. Can't cut corners around this one, have to learn it, and the pace of this book is pretty good, as well as the way more advanced stuff is handled.

I'm 50% less mystified than I was 2 days ago and my projects are looking way cooler.

I found this to be very very helpful with blender. It is from a company called Digital Tutors (Pluralsight) usually runs on a subscription. I would suggest downloading the video's while they are still on youtube. (I use this to save youtube videos (
